10,000 Roses Café in Cordova, Cebu
Imagine standing in the middle of 10,000 glowing white roses while the sea breeze brushes against your face — magical, right? That’s exactly what you’ll experience at the 10,000 Roses Café in Cordova, Cebu. This romantic and Instagram-worthy spot has become one of Cebu’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting visitors from all over the Philippines and beyond.
The café opened in February 2017 and was designed by Korean artist and interior designer Dong Sung Kim. Inspired by the famous LED rose garden at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, South Korea, he wanted to create a similar place in Cebu where art, romance, and nature come together. The name comes from the 10,000 artificial LED-powered white roses that light up beautifully at night, symbolizing purity and love. Since its opening, it has become an iconic landmark in Cordova, drawing thousands of tourists each year. My Personal Experience
When I visited the 10,000 Roses Café, I went around 4 PM to catch the sunset. The scenery was breathtaking — the golden rays reflected on the sea, and as it got dark, the roses started to light up beautifully. I enjoyed a cold iced coffee while sitting on the rooftop deck, taking in the fresh air and relaxing seaside vibe. Every corner is perfect for photos, and I ended up taking dozens!
